The company that runs an Andover nightclub has won a prestigious national award.
REKOM UK, operator of Cameo & Vinyl in Andover, has been hailed as the best night operator of the year at prestigious industry awards.
The company has been recognized by The Publican Awards, the biggest event on the hospitality industry calendar, for its outstanding work in the face of the Covid challenges that have hit the sector hard.
With 47 locations in Wales, England and Scotland, REKOM is the UK’s largest specialist nightclub and bar operator. His investment in his upscale staff and estate, focus on entertainment, premium drinks, and sound and light technology are said to have contributed to his award success.

Additionally, it has shown its commitment to customer well-being through the company’s We Care initiative which includes a team of Customer Service Ambassadors to support vulnerable clubbers, free mobile phone charging stations , a taxi escort service and refuge areas.
Chairman Peter Marks said: “We are proud to have won the award for Night Operator of the Year after a very difficult time which tested our resilience. The award is a significant achievement and recognizes the fantastic efforts of our club teams who have bounced back from lockdown to deliver great, memorable nights.
