The presenter led a lively discussion on the Duke of Sussex’s interview, in particular his comments about ‘protecting’ the Queen. As Denise Welch and Nadia Sawalha argued over whether Prince Harry was right to talk about his grandmother in public, Charlene White suggested her comments may have been about Prince Andrew’s decision to accompany his mother to the service Prince Philip Memorial.
The Duke of York accompanied his mother to her seat in Westminster earlier this month.
Images of him escorting the Queen instantly overshadowed the memorial service itself, with many royal commentators wondering who was advising Her Majesty.
It has also been reported that Prince Charles and his son Prince William were unhappy with Prince Andrew’s closeness to the Queen.
At the time, the Daily Mail reported that members of the Royal Family had “reluctantly” agreed that Andrew would travel with the Queen.

They added that Charles and William were “appalled”. The Duke of York put himself “in the foreground” as he walked outside the chapel with his mother.
Following Prince Harry’s comments he wants to make sure she has “the right people around her”, Charlene suggested the Duke of Sussex, who now resides in California with his wife Meghan Markle, might be doing reference to Andrew.
She explained: ‘The way I kind of read, let’s not forget those headlines from not too long ago when they had the church service and Prince Andrew was with the Queen.
Elsewhere in the discussion, Denise argued that Harry should be allowed to share his opinion on his family.
She said: “He said, ‘I just make sure the right people are around her’, I think it was probably loaded.
“And rightly so because the right people aren’t around her?”
“But why would you give a loaded comment if you don’t like people commenting on what you comment on,” Nadia replied.
Denise insisted, “He doesn’t care about people’s comments.”
However, Nadia exclaimed, “He does! They always say, ‘Leave us alone!’ »
“They don’t!” Denise snapped. “The press is the vitriol I’ve ever known about anyone regarding Prince Harry and Meghan.
“They’ve gone down a bit on Meghan now, it’s mostly on Prince Harry and I can’t understand why.”
“Do you think it might be because they made a few mistakes?” Nadia asked before Charlene stepped in to air the argument.
